Children's Ministry

Catch the excitement! Northstar Baptist Church offers a fantastic children's ministry. Children learn Bible stories and principles from our excellent group of teachers, and the Junior Church hour is not to be missed. On Wednesdays we have Patch Club-a time of teaching, singing, and fun. And don't miss our annual Vacation Bible Time in the summer!

Teen Discipleship

"Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers."

Relevant Bible messages, enjoyable games, and just a bit of the unexpected! Our weekly youth meeting is a highlight of the week. We partner with parents to equip young people to make wise, Biblical choices that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Northstar Express Bus Ministry

"And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." ~ Luke 14:23

Bus transportation is available in the central part of the city for those with transportation difficulties.

Pastoral Counseling

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." ~ Matt 18:20

The best counseling office is the preaching services of Northstar. However, there are times when problems require more effort and attention. Compassionate, Bible-centered counseling is available for those needs.

Pastor Sorenson is a nationally respected author, and has written a number of helpful books regarding the family, pastors, and Bible translations. He has also written an exhaustive commentary on the whole Bible.
